Comments: Abelia 'Raspberry Profusion' is a an evergreen shrub with a rapid, erect, spreading growth habit. It is a showy hybrid. From late Spring or early Summer till Fall, Abelia 'Raspberry Profusion' continuously produces abundant clusters o fragrant, bell-shaped blossoms with raspberry pink bracts. Butterflies are magnetized by its nectar-rich flowers. Abelia 'Raspberry Profusion' has dark green, glossy, evergreen foliage. Abelia 'Raspberry Profusion' thrives best in well-drained, acidic or alkaline soil in a sunny environment. It is sun loving and tolerates drought conditions. Provide sufficient room for plant to extend its branches. Deers would not go near it. Trim Abelia 'Raspberry Profusion' for size in Spring before new growth appears. Mass plant for a beautiful hedge or as a bank cover. Its fragrance and eye-catching flowers makes it a terrific show stopper.
