Comments:  Hemerocallis 'Crimson Pirate' or Daylily is an attractive constant bloomer with a vigorous growth habit.  This perennial plant is easy to grow.  To bring out the best colors in the bloom of this daylily plant, since it is dark colored, the plant has to be in part shade during the hottest part of the day so that the colors would not fade.
