Comments:  Hemerocallis flava or Yellow Daylily or Lemon daylily or Custard Lily is an early bloomer.  It is an easy to grow perennial.  Its bright color really brightens up the landscape and its fragrance is so delightful. To bring out the best colors in the daylily, light colors have to be in full sun (at least 6 hours) while the dark colors have to be in part shade during the hottest part of the day so their colors would not fade.
