Comments: Canna Lily Stuttgart is a striking sub-tropical and tropical perennial with an erect, fast, clumping growth habit. It was founded in the botanical garden in Stuttgart, Germany. In late Spring it produces exquisite orange blossoms atop of herbaceous variegated leaves. Canna Lily Stuttgart is easily propagated from rhizome divisions and performs best in part to full shade in moist, mildly acidic soil. Exposure to full sun will cause leaf burn. Mass plant Canna Stuttgart in the shade garden for a delightful tropical setting. It loves water and is ideal in ponds or a wet garden. Water well especially in Summer. Canna Lily Stuttgart can also be cultivated in a pot and placed in the ground. Its green and white leaves makes it a superb foliage plant. In colder areas, dig up rhizomes, place in peat and store in a cold dry place.
