Comments:  Coreopsis verticillata 'Creme Brulee' or Threadleaf Coreopsis or Tickseeds is a flowering perennial with a fast growth habit.  It is a showy hybrid.  In mid-Summer, Coreopsis Creme Brulee' produces abundant yelllow blossoms, followed later by seeds.  Butterflies and bees are magnetized by the nectar-rich blossosms while birds enjoy feasting on the seeds.  Threadleaf Coreopsis 'Creme Brulee' is easily propagated by rootball divisions or seeds.  It thrives best in well-drained, highly acidic, neutral or alkaline soil in a sunny to part shade environment.  Tickseed 'Creme Brulee' is low maintenance and it tolerates drought conditions.  It self sows readily so remove spent flowers if you do not wish ta have any volunteers next season.  Mass plant Coreopsis verticillata 'Creme Brulee' in the front border for a terrifdic display.  It can also be container cultivated for the sunny deck or patio.  Threadleaf Coreopsis is a Summer show stopper.
