Comments: Eremus 'Romance' or Foxtail Lily is a perennial bulb with an erect growth habit. It is of hybrid origin. In late Spring or early Summer, Foxtail Lily 'Romance' produces long stalk of starry florets of salmon-pink with yellow or orange stamens which opens from the bottom upwards. Eremus 'Romance' has lovely herbaceous green basal, strappy leaves. Foxtail Lily 'Eremus' is easily propagated from bulb divisions and planted in well-drained soil in a sunny location. Keep dry after flowering. Mass plant in the back of the border or perennial bed for an added sparkle in the Summer garden. Allow Eremus 'Romance' sufficient space for it to multiply. It can also be container cultivated. In colder areas, dig bulbs and store in cool dry place for planting next season. Foxtail Lily 'Eremus' is a terrific show stopper for the back of the border, against a darker background.
