Aglaomorpha meyeniana or
Bear's Paw Fern or
Polypodium coronans is
a
frost-tender humidity-loving tropical perennial with paw-like rhizomes
or stems. These 'paws' are very hairy, scaly, thick, broad and,
hence its name.
Bear's Paw Fern
grows on trees or rocks in its natural habitat. It is very
ornamental and makes a great container plant and looks lovely in hanging
baskets as well. For colder areas, grow Polypodium coronans
as a
lovely houseplant or greenhouse plant.
