Comments:  Crotons variegatum or Crotons are unique perennial shrubs  that are available in many varieties each with different foliage colors, shapes and sizes.  These plants will wilt if the soil dries out, so I  mulch mine to help retain  moisture.  Trim top of plant where it tends to have the heavies foliage in order to maintain bushiness.  Crotons are so colorful and they make popular houseplants, hedges, specimen plants and accent plants for the patio.  I love Crotons!  These are images of some of the varius cultivars of Croton plants growing in Jenny's Garden.
