Dracaena marginata 'Colorama' or Dracaena marginata 'Tricolor' or Madagascar Dragon Tree or Red-margined Dracaena or Red-edge Dracaena or Spanish Dagger or Rainbow Tree  is an attractive flowering tree with long slender trunk.  It is a popular indoor 'air-filter plant.  It has been reported that Dracaena marginata 'Tricolor' tree helps remove formeldehyde.  Dracaena marginata is a slow growing small tree that requires a minimum temperature of 59 degrees F.  Protect Rainbow Tree from frost or bring plants indoor for the winter.   Red-edge Dracaena makes great landscaping plants or grow it in a container to decorate the deck or patio.
