Origin:  Native to Africa, India, Madagascar, islands in the South Pacific
Light:  Low light, bright indirect light
Height:  2-50'   
Foliage:  Evergreen, long linear, glossy, smooth
Soil:  Well-drained, good aeration with soil pH  of 6-6.5

Water:  Regular.  Excessive watering will cause root rot
Fertilizers:  Water soluble/Controlled Released with N:P:K ratio of 3:1:2 or 3:1:3
Propagation: Tip cuttings, cane cuttings, air layering
Uses:  Indoor plant, container
Comments:  Draceana fragans Masseangea or Mass Cane or Corn Cane is a very popular slow growing low humidity indoor tropical plant with foliage growing on straight single stem or trunk.  Mist a few time per week.  Fertilize plants in Spring and Summer.  Protect Draceana Masseangea from drafts.
