Musa acuminata 'Super Dwarf Cavendish'

Super Dwarf  Cavemdish' or Super Dwarf  Cavemdish Banana is a unique ornamental perennial that is fast growing disease resistant.  It is easy to grow and low maintenance. Due to its compact size, Super Dwarf  Cavemdish Banana makes an excellent indoor plant when placed in the south facing window where it will get the most sun.  Make sure to rotate plant for sufficient light.  Move plant outdoors in Summer to encourage fruiting which will be in about 4 years.  Its tasty fruits are eaten fresh.  Super Dwarf  Cavemdish Banana not only adds a tropical flair to the landscaping garden but also provides delicious fruits for the gardener.  Outdoors, Musa acuminata 'Super Dwarf  Cavemdish' makes a great groundcover or patio plant, making sure to protect plant from frost.  Apply fertilizer during growing season.  Cut tree down after harvesting to allow suckers to grow. In colder areas, remove top part of plant, dig root and store till next planting season.
