Comments:
Psidium guajava or Tropical Guava or Goiaba is an easy to grow perennial fruit tree.  Its tree trunk has barks that can be easily peeled off.  Goiaba bears many tasty Vitamin C-rich fruits which can be eaten right off the tree or can be made into drinks, preserves or ice-cream.  For a bushier plant, nip top shoots. Psidium guajava  makes a good shade tree and attracts birds. It adds a tropical flair to the landscape.
