Delosperma floribunda 'Starburst' or Starburst Ice Plant is a very charming perennial succulent with a low trailing growth habit.  This mat-forming perennial can be easily grown from seeds and cuttings.  Starburst Ice Plant thrives well in any kind of soil and tolerates drought.  Delosperma floribunda 'Starburst' produces many lovely purple with white center and yellow eye, daisy-like flowers. When planted in masses, Starburst Ice Plant look very impressive in the rock garden or on a hilly slope or as a groundcover.  Delosperma floribunda 'Starburst' is low maintenance and requires miminal care.  It cannot tolerate frost but can be overwintered in dry soil.  Delosperma floribunda 'Starburst' is a butterfly attractor.
