Soil: Well-drained, drought tolerant when established Water: Moderate, dry Uses: Groundcover, borders, cut flower arrangements Comments: Eryngium 'Jade Frost' is a spectacular looking, clump-forming groundcover with a slow growth rate. It has a unique variegation in its leaves which change color in the Spring and Summer. In mid-Summer, the intense silvery-blue flowers are a plus; the blooms are a florist's delight as they are long lasting and they make excellent dried or fresh cut flower arrangements. Eryngium 'Jade Frost' loves heat and is salt and drought tolerant. This is an adorable perennial to have in Jenny's Garden. USDA Zones: 5-8 |
