Eryngium 'Jade Frost'...Light:  Full sun  Height:  6-8"  Spread:  14"  Blooms:  Long lasting, pale blue flowerhead on 3' stalk, in mid-Summer  Foliage:  Variegated, rossette, broad; in Spring, leaves are blue-green with rosy-pink margins while in Summer, the margins turn to bold creamy-white.  Soil:  Well-drained, drought tolerant when established  Water:  Moderate, dry  Uses:  Groundcover, borders, cut flower arrangements  Comments:  Eryngium 'Jade Frost' is a spectacular looking, clump-forming groundcover with a slow growth rate.  It has a unique variegation in its leaves which change color in the Spring and Summer.  In mid-Summer, the intense silvery-blue flowers are a plus;  the blooms are a florist's delight as they are long lasting and they make excellent dried or fresh cut flower arrangements.  Eryngium 'Jade Frost' loves heat and is salt and drought tolerant. Swedish Ivy is easily propagated from cuttings rooted in moist soil or in water.  It is upright when young but mature plants tend to trail. Plectranthus australis loves the heat and humidity and would enjoy bright indirect light and being misted on hot Summer days.  Plectranthus marginatus are excellent hanging basket plants.  Its attractive leaves makes it a great foliage plant when not in bloom.  Be cautious when handling plants as the stems are easily susceptible to breakage.  Pinch or prune Swedish Ivy to promote branching and new growth.
