Hosta fortunei 'Antioch' or Hosta is a medium to large perennial with a cascading mounding habit.  In mid-Summer, 26" long scape of lavender funnel-shaped blossoms appear among large heart-shaped leaves.  The lovely long-lasting pale lavender blooms of Hosta fortunei 'Antioch' attract hummingbirds and they make excellent cut flower arrangements.  This gorgeous perennial is low maintenance and is easily propagated from seeds or clump divisions.  Hosta fortunei 'Antioch' thrives well in most soil.  The gorgeous foliage is very eye-catching and draws a lot of attention.  Grow this exquisite-looking plant in a container to accent the patio or deck or en masse as a groundcover or in a cottage setting.  Compost Hosta fortunei 'Antioch'  well to.protect from frost.
