Lamium maculatum 'Beacon Silver' or Spotted Nettle or Dead Nettle 'Beacon Silver' is a perennial plant with a low, mat-forming growth habit.   In Spring , lovely pink blossoms constantly appear among exquisite variegated foliage.  Lamium maculatum 'Beacon Silver' is easily propagated from stem cuttings or divisions taken in Spring.  It thrives well in a well-drained moist soil in a part to full shade location.   Spotted Nettle looks ideal as groundcovers under taller trees or around ponds.  This eye-catching plant is an excellent plant for shady areas.  Dead Nettle 'Beacon Silver' compliments well with Hostas or Huechera.  Mass plant for a dramatic effect.  It stops foot traffic.
