Comments:
Lampranthus aurantiacus 'Orange Glow' or Orange Ice Plant or Orange Pig Face is a very charming tropical succulent plant with a low trailing, growth habit.  It ia a member of the Carpetweed family.  Lampranthus aurantiacus 'Orange Glow' is mat-forming and can be easily grown from stem cuttings or rootball divisions.  Orange Ice Plant thrives well in well-drained soil in a sunny location with twice a month waterings.  Orange Pig Face loves the heat and in mid-Spring, it continuously produces glowy orange, daisy-like  flowers all year round.  Orange Pig Face is hardy and requires miminal care.  Bees and butterflies are attracted to the blossoms.  When planted in masses, Lampranthus aurantiacus 'Orange Glow'  look very impressive in the rock garden or on a hilly slope.  Mass plant these drought tolerant plants as eye-catching groundcover and allow them to trail freely.  Orange Ice Plant are ideal for container planting or plant in a hanging basket and allow the plants to drape gracefully over the pot and down the sides of it.  Pinch plants to promote growth.
