Japanese Pachysandra
is an acid-loving perennial that spreads by underground rhizomes.
It has green smooth,
glossy foliage and bears a short spike of fragrant white flowers
followed by red berries in Summer. Pachysandra terminalis
'Green Sheen' is very hardy and is easily propagated by rhizome divisions or by stem
cuttings taken in Summer.
Japanese Spurge
slowly grows to form colonies. Plant them in a shady area in well-drained soil to
prevent
root rot.
If grown in full sun, make sure to water Japanese Pachysandra well.
These deer-resistant plants make superb edging plants for the
driveway or as awesome
groundcover under big
trees or taller perennials.
Pachysandra

makes excellent filler plants
