is an attractive perennial groundcover with a rapid
trailing growth habit. This plant is popularly used by gardeners
as a substitute for grass as it can tolerate light foot traffic. Vinca minor
sets roots at nodes of stems at they creep forming a nice carpet. In Spring,
Common Periwikle
bears lovely bluish-lavender flowers which last through Fall.
Creeping Myrtle is easily propagated from seeds, cuttings or divisions
rootballs.
Flower-of-Death
is carefree and low maintenance and it is invasive.
