Other Comments: Tanacetum vulgare ' Crispum' is a
wind-tolerant hardy perennial plant that attracts butterflies and
hooverflies. It is best grown in the herb garden, orchard and
under roses as it repels insects. The underground rhizome of
this plant is slow to spread.
Caution: Poisonous if large quantities are ingested. This
plant and its flowering stems are used as a substitute flavoring for
cinnamon and nutmeg. The flowers are
used as a garnish or eaten in small amounts
