Comments:  Hedychium 'Dr Moy'  or Hardy Ginger Lily is a tender tropical perennial with a vigorous, upright, rhizomatous spreading growth habit.   It is a very showy hybrid.  From late Summer to Fall, it produces a large fragrant cluster of apricot flowers.  It has showy variegated herbaceous, smooth foliage with white stripings and strong stems.  Hedychium 'Dr Moy' is easily propagated from offsets or rhizome divisions.  it thrives best in well-drained, acidic soil, in a part shade environment.  Mass plant in the back of the border for a showy display.  It makes a statement in the shade garden.  Hedychium 'Dr Moy' makes an ideal foliage plant.  It is low maintenance.  'Dr Moy' Hardy Ginger Lily was previously known as 'Robusta Variegated Ginger and Hedychium 'Robusta'.  It attracts a lot of attention.
