Heuchera 'Regina' or Alum Root or Alumroot or Coral Bell or is a very
showy perennial with a medium, mounding growth habit. It is of hybrid origin. From late Spring to early
Summer, Coral Bell 'Regina' produces 3' tall sprays of pink flowers, followed later by seeds. A
handful of these cut flowers make a lovely bouquet. Heuchera 'Regina'
has very glossy, scalloped silver-burgundy-bronze foliage which makes it a
desirable foliage plant. It thrives best in well-drained, mildly
acidic, neutral or alkaline soil in a sunny to part shade environment.
Alumroot 'Regina' grown in borders or beds add contrast to other perennials. It
can also be container cultivated. Heuchera 'Regina' is low
maintenance. Deers would not go near it. Mass plant Alum Root
'Regina' for a splendid groundcover under taller shrubs. Plant them
in beddings or borders or use them as edging plants for a strking
walkway. It holds its color really well. Heuchera 'Regina' makes
incredibly nice companion plants. This stunning beauty captures
everyone's attention. Interesting to note, it won first prize in the Royal Society for Horticulture Perennial Plant
