Comments:  Hosta 'Love Pat' is a medium sized perennial with a vigorous, mounding growth habit.  It is a showy hybrid.  Hosta 'Love Pat' by has showy intense blue-green, broadly-ovate, thick, deeply cupped, pleated and corrugated foliage. From mid to late Summer, it produces white tubular-shaped flowers on 28" scape.  Hosta 'Love Pat' is easily propagated from rootball divisions or seeds.  It performs best in well-drained, moist, rich soil in a partly shaded environment.  Hosta 'Love Pat' is low maintenance and is slug resistant.  Mass plant for the best blue groundcover in the shade garden.  It is a spectacular showpiece for the Summer landscape. 
Interestingly, Hosta 'Love Pat' won the 1988 AHS Convention 'Best Blue Leaf Award.
