Comments: Hosta 'Patriot' is an attractive perennial with a mounding growth habit. In mid-Summer, it produces 30" tall spikes of pink, funnel-shaped blossoms, attracting hummingbirds and songbirds. Hosta 'Patriot' is easily propagated from rhizome or clump divisions taken in late Summer. It thrives best in part to full shade, in well-drained, humus-rich, mildly acidic or neutral soil. Mass plant Hosta 'Patriot' for an exquisite display as ground covers under taller trees or in the shade garden. It can also be container cultivated. Hosta 'Patriot' looks excellent in mix planting or as a stand alone specimen. It multiplies fast. Divided every few years when overcrowded. Hosta 'Patriot' attracts attention.
