Comments:  Hylotelephium 'Autumn Fire' or Showy Stonecrop is a perennial succulent plant with a low growth habit.  It is a showy hybrid.  In late Summer Hylotelephium 'Autumn Fire' produces large flat rose flowerhead.  Butterflies and bees are magnetized by the nectar-rich blossoms  It has succulent herbaceous blue-green foliage.  Showy Stonecrop is easily propagated from stem cuttings or rootball divisions.  It performs best in well-drained, acidic to neutral soil in a sunny environment. Butterflies and bees are magnetized by the nectar-rich blossoms while birds enjoy feasting on the seeds.  Hylotelephium 'Autumn Fire' is low maintenance.  It is excellent for xeriscaping.  Mass plant in borders or along walkways for a dramatic display.  Showy Stonecrop can also be container cultivated. It is very showy and attracts attention.
