Comments:  Kniphofia 'Creamside Popsicle' or Dwarf Poker is a hardy perennial with a rhizomatos spreading growth habit.  It is a showy dwarf hybrid.  In mid-Summer, Kniphofia 'Creamside Popsicle' produces spikes of creamy colored flowerheads, followed later by seeds.  It has herbaceous basal foliage.  Birds, hummingbirds, bees and butterflies are magnetized by the nectar-rich blossoms.  Dwarf Poker is easily propagated from seeds or rhizome divisions and thrives best in well-drained, neutral soil in a sunny location.  It can tolerate moist or drought conditions.  Deers tend to avoid this plant.  Kniphofia 'Creamside Popsicle' is a self-seeder and also spreads by means of its thick rhizomes.  Mass plant for a delightful display in the mid-border.  Dwarf Poker adds a tropical flair and brightens the dry Summer landscape with its sizzling colors.  Kniphofia 'Creamside Popsicle' can also be container cultivated.  It is ideal for smaller gardens.  Dwarf Poker is an attention getter.
