Comments:  Albizia julibrissin or Silk Tree or Mimosa Tree or Pink Siris is an eye-catching deciduous tree with fragant long-lasting prolific blooms that attracts many bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.  It has an arching canopy which makes it a nice shade tree.   Silk Tree is carefree, frost tolerant and fast growing.  This woody shrub self-sows readily.  Prune to keep tree to maintain size and shape.  Mimosa Tree looks spectacular in the sunny area of the landscaping garden and is easily propagated by seeds. The understory plants enjoy the filtered shade that this wonderful tree provides.
