Comments: Aralia elata 'Aureovariegata or Variegated Japanese
Angelica Tree is beautiful
rounded shrub with striking variegated leaves.
This
deciduous shrub has thick, coarse erect stems with prickles.
Variegated Japanese Angelica Tree is frost hardy and can tolerate
temperature of -30 degrees F. It self sows and spreads by
suckers at the rootstock. The suckers can be removed and grown.
Aralia elata 'Aureovariegata can also be esily propagated by dividing
rootball. This rapid growing shrub attracts many bees,
butterflies and birds. Variegated Japanese Angelica Tree makes an
excellent specimen tree in the landscaping garden. I love its
attractive variegated foliage.
