Comments: Bauhinia variegata candida or White Variegated Orchid Tree or White Mountain Ebony or White Mountain Butterfly Tree is a beautiful tropical medium to large shrub with interesting flowers and foliage.   It is such a beautiful sight when the tree is in full bloom and the perfume from the flowers fill the whole garden. Long narrow brown seedpods about 1' in length will be formed after the flowers have finished blooming.  Trim plant to train into a nice accent shrub in the landscape.  Bauhinia variegata candida is a delightful tree that enhances the beauty of the landscaping garden.
