Comments: Sanchezia speciosa or Sanchezia or Gold Vein Plant is an
interesting erect perennial shrub with handsome foliage and colorful
repeated blooms. The variegated foliage, reminicense of the Zebra
Plant, adds visual effect to the
tropical landscape or border garden. Protect Sanchezia plant from frost. This plant
dies back to the ground in winter in zone 8b, however it will return in
the Spring. Sanchezia speciosa plant is easy to grow and it makes a
great indoor plant; place pot in a tray of water with pebbles in it.
It loves being misted at least twice a day. Hummingbirds love the
Gold Vein Plant.
