is a beautiful semi-evergreen shrub with a sprawling habit.
In Summer, plants grown in warmer areas, will retain the reddish foliage
while those grown in colder areas, will lose half of its leaves while
the reamining will be red in color. The stems grow in a v-shape form
from the ground forming a round upright small tree.
Golden Abelia
has prolific long-lasting blooms that attracts many bees,
swallowtail butterflies and hummingbirds.
This shrub is carefree, frost tolerant and fast-growing. Mulch
to maintain moisture and protect plant from
cold wind.. Abelia x grandiflora 'Francis Mason' blooms best in full sun
and it can be pruned one-half of old canes at base of plant after
flowering. Fertilize in Spring or Fall.
Golden Abelia
is an excellent yearr-round shrub in the landscaping garden with its
magnificent colorful foliage and prolific blooms.
