Comments: 
Catalpa bignoides or Southern Catalpa or Fish Bait or Indian Bean Tree or  Catawba is an interesting low-maintenance and fast growing ornamental tree.  It has a short trunk and an open irregular crown and is heat and drought tolerant once established. The larvae of the Catalpa  sphinx moth is called Catalpa worm;  they can be frozen and are used as fish baits.
