Comments:  Lonicera sempervirens  or Coral Honeysuckle or Trumpet Honeysuckle is a perennial climber with a vigorous growth habit. It is a native of eastern United States.  In mid-Spring, Lonicera sempervirens produces red with yellow trumpet-shaped blossoms.  Bees, Ruby Throat hummingbirds and butterflies are magnetized by the nectar-rich blossoms while the birds enjoy feasting on the yellow berries.   Coral Honeysuckle is easily propagated from seeds or stem cuttings and thrives best in well-drained, moist, acidic soil.  It is low maintenance.  Use Trumpet Honeysuckle as a living fence or allow it to climb up a trellis or arbor for a delightful display.  It is an easy plant and attracts a lot of attention.
