Uses:  Groundcover, foliage, woodland setting, shade garden, mass plant, hanging basket, container, indoors, tropical garden

Comments:  Nephrolepis cordifolia 'Duffii' or Erect Sword Fern or Fishbone Fern or Lemon Button Fern or Ladder Fern or Pigmy Swordfern or Tuber Fern or Tuberous Sword Fern is a tropical plant with a low, spreading growth habit.  It is native to Pantropical regions.  Nephrolepsis cordifolia 'Duffii' has exquisite small, round, yellowish-gold foliage with serrated edges that alternates up thin arching stems.  The leaves have a lovely lemon scent.  It is easily propagated from rootball divisions.  Lemon Button Fern thrives best in well-drained, moist, peaty, acidic to neutral soil in filtered light.  Erect Sword Fern looks ideal in hanging baskets or containers.  Mass plant Fishbone Fern as groundcovers in a woodland setting or grow it as an indoor plant.  Pigmy Swordfern is an excellent tropical foliage plant.
