Comments: Origanum rotundifolium 'Kent Beauty' or Ornamental Oregano is an ornamental herbal plant with a slow, trailing growth habit. It is of hybrid origin. From late Spring or early Summer till frost Ornamental Oregano produces delicate looking but very showy lavender white and tan blossoms followed later by seeds. Origanum rotundifolium 'Kent Beauty' is easily propagated from rootball divisions. Seeds would not come true to parent. Ornamental oregano thrives ideally in well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil in a sunny to part shade location. Use Origanum rotundifolium 'Kent Beauty' in hanging baskets or containers or grow then along a wall and allow them to cascade down the sides for an exquisite display. Fertilize in Spring with well-balance fertilizer for optimum growth. Ornamental Oregano forms nice clumps and is a real showpiece.
