Comments: Oxalis crassipes 'Alba' or White Oxalis or White Wood Sorrel is an evergreen perennial with a low mounding growth habit. It is a native of central America. From Spring through Summer, Oxalis crassipes 'Alba' produces masses of white blossoms arising above foliage, followed later by seeds. It has triangular evergreen. clover-like leaves with splashes of gray on them. White Oxalis is easily propagated from bulbil divisions or offsets. It performs best in well-drained, moist rich soil in a sunny to part shade environment. White Wood Sorrel is low maintenance and tolerates drought when established. Deers would not go near it. Mass plant Oxalis crasippes 'Alba' as edging plants or in borders for a terrific display. It can also be grown in hanging baskets or containers. White Oxalis looks lovely as groundcovers under taller plants and quickly fills in a nice area. It makes an eye-catching woodland plant. White Wood Sorrel can be invasive in the right environment.
