Silk Tree produces very showy, extremely fragrant, huge pure white
single blossoms with striking golden stamens. When the plant is about 3 years old, Florists would be delighted to start taking cut flowers. Plant Tree Peony about 6"
deep from the level of the graft bud down in a permanent location. Peony Sugared Silk Tree is an
early bloomer. It performs best in full sun with some light shade in
Summer. Water well on hot days at the base to prevent fungal infection. Keep plants dry between each
watering. Mulch to preserve moisture. Peony Tree 'Sugared Silk' is low
maintenance. After it has established itself for a few years, it will
reward you with many years of enjoyment. Provide plenty of room for it to
grow with no competition from other plants. Prune lightly for shape. Use Peony Sugared Silk Tree as specimen tree for smaller garden. It adds dazzle and fragrance to the Summer landscape.
