similar to those of the Okra plant. The
leaves of Hibiscus Manihot
are very nutritious
and are used in cooking like stir-fry, soups, stews or eaten raw as a
salad.
African Rose Mallow is a host plant
for the Painted Lady and Skippers butterflies.
