Comments:   Gaura Lindheimeri '
Benso' "Blushing Butterflies" or Gaura or  Lindheimer's beeblossom or Appleblossom Grass or Wandflower or Blushing Butterflies is a compact perennial with a robust, clump-forming growth habit.  This heat and humidity-loving plant looks lovely espceially when it is grown in masses.  The blushi pink flowers are  reminscent of dainty small butterflies.  Deadhead to promote more blooms and trim plant back after blooming to maintain neatness and fuller growth.  Give it a hard prune in Winter.  Butterflies and bees are attracted to this plant.  Wandflower is easy to grow and is a low maintenance plant.  It has deep tap roots and resent being moved.  Gaura Lindheimeri '
Benso' "Blushing Butterflies"  is an annual in colder regions.
