Star plant is an
interesting tropical perennial plant that self-seeds. It is
low-maintenance, heat and insect resistant and bees, butterflies and hummingbirds loves its
blossoms. Stake to protect from strong wind. The bees and
butterflies especially the Painted Lady and Monarch butterflies love to
feast on the nectar of the Gayfeather flowers. It is such a joy to see
so many butterflies in my garden.
