Comments:
Salvia splendens 'St John's Fire' or Red Sage or Red Salvia or Scarlet Sage or
Scarlet Salvia or
St John's Fire is an
interesting self-seeding plant
that survives well in my garden. This tender perennial is a repeat
bloomer till the first frost and is a bees, hummingbirds and butterflies
attractant.
Deadhead faded blooms to promote more blooms.
Salvia splendens plants are very easy to grow and they look very
nice when grown in masses.
I
mulch them well for the winter and they return the following season.
These low-maintenance plants comes in many different varieties.
