Comments:  Stromanthe sanguinea 'Tricolor' or Stromanthe or Triostar is a tender perennial with lovely variegated leaves and exotic looking flowers.  This exotic looking plant enjoys high humity.   Keep plant neat by trimming old leaves.  Stromanthe sanguinea 'Tricolor' or Stromanthe or Triostar makes a lovely contaiiner plant for the patio or for the home, providing it with sufficient light and it defintely add some pizzazz to the tropical shade garden  Give it plenty of water during growth period and mulch heavily from the cold in Winter.  Triostar can be cut back in Spring.  Just the foliage alone, Stromanthe sanguinea 'Tricolor' makes a great conversational piece; it is indeed a great masterpiece to own.
