Comments: Mirabilis jalapa or Four O'Clock or Marvel of Peru is an attractive carefree perennial that is
pest and disease tolerant. It self sows readily so deadhead to
prevent any future volunteer plants. Flowers open at four or five
o'clock in the evening, hence the plant got its name. Bees,
butterflies and hummingbirds
love the Marvel of Peru. The synonym for this plant is Mirabilis
lindheimeri.
