Orange Coneflower is an upright, self-sowing
hardy perennial. Grown in masses, they really add color to the
landscape. The adult Great Spangled Fritillary butterflies loves
to feed on the nectar of Black-eyed Susan.
Interesting note: Rudbeckia 'Goldsturm' was selected the
1999 Perennial of the Year. It is the state flower of Maryland.
