Comments: Trandescantia virginiana or Virginia Spiderwort or
Lady's Tears or Trinity Flower is a pretty plant with dainty blue-violet
flowers. I have one that is pale blue and another deep bright
violet-purple. The luminescence of Virginia Spiderwort really
brighten up my garden especially after a dull winter. I understand there are several other shade
of colors also including a white and a rose color. Lady's
Tears are so easy to grow and they thrive well without little maintenance.
Trim them back after flowering to keep plant in shape and nicer growth.
Grown in masses, Trinity Flower put on a great show as border or
edging plants.
