Comments:  Rosa 'Barbra Streisand' or Hybrid Tea Rose is a tall, nearly thornless bush with a fast growth habit.  It is a showy hybrid origin, from hybridizer Tom Carruth (2001), with Sterling Silver and Angel Face as its ancestors.  In late Spring, Rosa 'Barbra Streisand' prolifically produces intensely fragrant, very showy, large, double-petaled lavender flowers with 35 petal count.  The cut flowers citrus-scented blossoms borne on new growth, look exquisite among glossy, dark green leaves.  Hybrid Tea Rose 'Barbra Streisand' is propagated from buding, grafting or stem cuttings.  It thrives best in well-drained, acidic to neutral soil in a sunny environment.  Nearly thornless Rosa 'Barbra Streisand' is heat tolerant.   Mass plant for an impressive and fragrant Summer landscape.  Prune early to promote new growth next season.  Hybrid Tea Rose 'Barbra Streisand' can also be trained as a standard or tree form.

USDA Zones:  6-11.
