Comments:  Rosa 'Iceberg' or Floribunda Rose is a showy hardy rose with a climbing growth habit.  It is of hybrid origin, the result of a 1958 successful cross by Kordes of Germany between 'Robin Hood', hybrid tea rose 'Virgo' (1947) and a Pemberton bred hybrid Musk (1927).  In Spring, Rosa 'Iceberg' repeatedly produces prolific, medium-sized, lightly scented white flowers borne on new wood.  It has glossy green foliage and long thin moderately thorny stems.  Floribunda Rose 'Iceberg' is easily propagated from grafting, budding or stem cuttings.  It thrives best in well-drained, acidic soil in a sunny environment.  Rosa 'Iceberg' can be trained into a standard or tree form.  Prune early to promote abundant blooms.  Grow Floribunda Rose 'Iceberg' close to the house where you can enjoy its fragrance.  In Spring or Fall, the flowers spot a pink blush.  Mass plant Rosa 'Iceberg' for a terrific looking hedge or a privacy screen.  As a climber, provide support, trellis or arbor for a delightful display.  Its non-stop blooms makes Floribunda Rose 'Iceberg' a keeper.

Interesting to note, Rosa 'Iceberg' has won the following awards:
The National Rose Society Gold Medal (1958)
The Baden-Baden Gold Medal (1958)
The ADR Anerkannte Deutsche Rose (1960, Germany)
The World's Favorite Rose(1983)
The Royal Horticulture Society Award of Garden Merit
