Comments: Rosa 'Jefferson' or MORfree or Softee or Thornless Jefferson Rose or Miniature Rose is a upright shrub with an vigorous, arching growth habit. It is a showy hybrid by hybridizer Moore (1983). From late Spring to Fall, Rosa 'Jefferson' produces prolific clusters of slightly fragrant, small, creamy-yellow flowers with yellow centers, borne on new growth. It has deciduous green leaves. MORfree can be propagated from stem cuttings, grafting or budding. It performs best in well-drained, acidic soil in a sunny environment. Softee is almost thornless so it is safe to grow in beds or borders near foot traffic or around children. It can also be container cultivated. Prune Thornless Jefferson Rose after flowering to promote better blooms next season. Its abundant repeated blooms are really eye-catching!
