Comments:  Rosa 'Old Blush' or Almost Thornless Antique Climbing Old Blush Rose or Old Blush China Rose is an antique rose with a compact, climbing growth habit.  It is the proud parents of many of today's hybrid roses.  From Summer through Fall, Rosa 'Old Blush' repeatedly produces pink, double blossoms that turns dark with age.  This characteristic make it an ideal candidate for hybridization.  Many hips appear after flowering season is over.  Old Blush China Rose has smooth, slender, almost thornless stems.  It is easily propagated from cuttings and thrives in well-drained,  poor, acidic or alkaline soil.  Allow Rosa 'Old Blush' to climb up a  pergola, trellis or arbor for a dramatic effect.  It looks terrific trained as a low pillar.  Last Rose of China is popularly cultivated for its prolific flowering and sweet fragrance.  It is rarely susceptible to pest or disease.   Parson's Pink china is a terrific show stopper.
