Comments:  Rosa 'The Fairy' or Fairy Rose or Feerie Rose or Perle Rose is a very old hardy Polyantha Shrub Rose with a vigorous, low, spreading growth habit. in sunny environment.  It is a hybrid by hybridizer Ann Bentall from England in 1932.  In mid-Spring, Rosa 'The Fairy' reliably produces floriferous, lightly fragrant, double, cupped, soft pink flowers appear on long, graceful canes.  It has medium green foliage.  Fairy Rose is easily propagated from the runners, stem cuttings, layering, budding or grafting.  It thrives well in well-dtained, poor acidic soil in a sunny environment.  Feerie Rose tolerates shade. and is low maintenance.  It is disease resistant.  Perle Rose can be trained to grow as a tree or as a standard.  Grow several for an eye-catching hedge.  Prune early to promote new growth next season.  Rosa 'The Fairy' sets roots whenever the cane touches the soil.  Provide plenty of space and good air circulation for this tough rose to bloom its heart off.  Ferreie Rose is one magnificent rose that is so easy to grow and brings charm to the Summer and Fall landscape.
